Why Apple's Fight With the FBI Matters

A federal court ordered Apple to help the FBI unlock an iPhone used by one of the attackers in the San Bernardino shooting. Apple is challenging the court’s request.  This battle between tech companies and the government over encryption could open a Pandora’s box, said Andrew Howard, director of the Cyber Technology and Information Security Laboratory at the Georgia Tech Research Institute.
